With autumn now well on its way, FMP are back from the Edinburgh Fringe and looking back on the successes of the month. At this festival, we produced three sell-out shows: ROLEPLAY, Crybabies: The Scaring, and Garry Starr: Classic Penguins, alongside our venue Shedinburgh. Our Fringe highlights included:
- All three of our shows fully sold out, with ROLEPLAY selling out its full run before the festival began.
- Crybabies were nominated for the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards and won Best Comedy from The Stagey Place.
- Our three shows had a combined attendance of over 20,000 audience members.
- We appeared in The Guardian, NPR, The Scotsman, BBC Radio 4, The New York Times, and many more.
- Shedinburgh hosted 80+ performances, over a quarter of which were fully sold out, and won Best Venue from The Stagey Place.
All of our productions have future lives this Autumn in London and elsewhere:
- Crybabies: The Scaring is at Soho Theatre, London until 23 September
- Garry Starr: Classic Penguins is at Studio Seaview in NYC until 4 October, and then at The Other Palace, London from 22 October – 3 January
