Shedinburgh is back – bigger and busier than ever.
Our shed is returning to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer, in its new home, Assembly Checkpoint. Then, Shedinburgh comes to London for the first time, taking up residence at the Young Vic for three weeks this Autumn.
We’ve also revealed the first four artists joining us this year: Inua Ellams, Rosie Jones, Bryony Kimmings, and Sara Pascoe.
As part of our expanded 2026 programme, we announced two takeover partners for our Edinburgh run: Forest Fringe and Birmingham Hippodrome‘s New Musical Theatre department will both be curating two days of Shed Shows for us.
And finally, we’ve partnered with four leading national theatres for our 2026 Shed Originals script development programme: Lowry, Salford (England), Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh (Scotland), Abbey Theatre, Dublin (Ireland), and Theatr Clwyd, Flintshire (Wales).
